In May 2021, (which was a difficult time in all our lives because of Covid 19) family peer support workers got involved in promoting their service and supports provided to families through a series of podcasts on Midwest Radio  https://www.midwestradio.ie/

As part of this initiative, family peer support workers in Mayo partnered with Teresa Keane, Development Officer at Mental Health Ireland. https://www.mentalhealthireland.ie and created five short podcasts  relating to family well-being which you can listen to below.

You can also listen to Veronica Burke, Senior Social Worker talking with Midwest radio host Tommy Marron about the podcasts and supports available for family members who have a loved one availing of mental health services.
