Bealach Nua family peer support is only provided to family members whose loved one is in the mental health services in Mayo, Galway or Roscommon.

However our information evenings are open to anyone in the community. We regularly get inquiries from families whose family member may not be in the service and we are always happy to signpost these inquires to supports in the community that will help them. Families can self-refer or be referred by a mental health professional. The consent of their family member with mental health difficulties is not needed for family members to attend Bealach Nua.
